Your donation will help complete the Clan Mothers Healing Village and Knowledge Centre, benefiting those who have experienced intergenerational trauma and ensuring they receive the love and support they deserve.
Donors will be prominently recognized for their pivotal role in bringing this project to life.
General Gift Options
We are pleased to offer several suggestions as to how your gift can help the Clan Mothers Healing Village and Knowledge Centre become a reality.
1. Elders Cabin – $250,000
- A 7-bedroom cabin with a large gathering space and kitchenette, used by Elders who are visiting for a day or few days or are living in the Village.
2. Staff Cabin – $250,000
- A 5-bedroom cabin, that will be the permanent residence for staff working at the village.
3. Cabins For Women/ Girls/ 2SLGBTQQIA – $100,000 each
- The cabins will be home to Lived Experience Women, serving as a safe place for them to begin their land-based healing journey in the village.
4. Gardens for Food Sovereignty and Ceremony Grounds – $50,000
- Indigenous food sovereignty will address the underlying issues impacting Indigenous peoples’ ability to respond to our own needs for healthy, culturally adapted Indigenous foods.
5. Supplies for the Village for the Season – $25,000
- While the Village will eventually be fully sustainable, support is needed in the first few years to buy supplies needed for the Village operations.
6. Long House Furnishings – $10,000
- This is the base for the Lived Experience women to gather around food sovereignty, share meals and visit with the Elders; and where traditional and spiritual healing will take place.
7. Cabin Furnishings – $5,000 each
- The cabins will provide women their own space, and it will be important to help make these spaces feel like a home, so the women can begin to heal.
