We invite you to become a donor in the campaign to help ensure that women, girls, two-spirit and transgender persons receive the help and support they need.
Your donation will help us finish the Clan Mothers Healing Village and Knowledge Centre, and will benefit thousands of women, girls, two-spirit and transgender persons who have experienced intergenerational trauma. Together, we will make sure that these people receive the love and healing they deserve.
You will be prominently acknowledged throughout the project, recognizing your pivotal role in developing the Clan Mothers Healing Village and Knowledge Centre.
For more information on how your gift will be recognized and how a partnership with the Clan Mothers Healing Village and Knowledge Centre can help you or your organization, please contact us at email@example.com
We are pleased to offer several suggestions as to how your gift can help the Clan Mothers Healing Village and Knowledge Centre become a reality.
A 7-bedroom cabin with a large gathering space and kitchenette, used by Elders who are visiting for a day or few days or are living in the Village.
A 5-bedroom cabin, that will be the permanent residence for staff working at the Village.
Cabins For Women / GirlS / 2SLGBTQQIA
The cabins will be home to Lived Experience Women, serving as a safe place for them to begin their land-based healing journey in the Village.
Landscaped Outdoor Area for Healing
Ceremonial spaces for land-based healing where the women and girls can connect with the land, learn traditional wellness practices and heal from trauma.
Supplies for the Village for the Season
While the Village will eventually be fully sustainable, support is needed in the first few years to buy supplies needed for Village operations.
Long House Furnishings
The long house is the base for the Lived Experience Women to gather around food sovereignty, share meals and visit with the Elders; and where traditional and spiritual healing will take place.
The cabins will provide women with their own space, and it will be important to help make these spaces feel like a home, so the women can begin to heal.
